AI services startup Aivar has raised $4.6 Mn (INR 41.3 Cr) in a seed funding round led by Sorin Investments, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners. The startup plans to utilise the fresh capital to expand its operations across India, the US and the Middle East, and hire senior talent.

Aivar said the fresh funding will also go towards strengthening its delivery capabilities and building reusable AI components.

The startup is positioning itself as an alternative to traditional IT services firms, which are still adapting to such models.

Founded in 2024 by former AWS executives Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran and Aadharsh Ayappan, Aivar helps businesses build, deploy and manage advanced AI, GenAI, data analytics and cloud solutions.

Aivar claims to be working with more than 80 customers. It operates as an end-to-end AI services firm, covering strategy, custom AI development and ongoing operations.

The startup also offers in-house tools for voice-based AI, workflow automation and AI infrastructure management, aimed at reducing deployment time.

The startup’s deal adds to growing investor interest in AI-first services startups, as enterprises look to integrate AI more deeply into their systems rather than run isolated pilots.

Most recently, Coreops.ai raised $3.5 Mn to expand engineering capacity and strengthen its AI platform stack.

Meanwhile, B2B agentic AI startup Lyzr had raised $8 Mn in October last year in its Series A funding to build voice agent developer.

This is when the country is rapidly expanding the GenAI ecosystem, which is projected to become a $17 Bn opportunity by 2030. Moreover, investor confidence in the sector is evident from the over $1.6 Bn raised by AI-native startups between 2022 and Q3 2025.
