Akshay Kumar's Bhooth Bangla On Course To Be A Box Office Hit; Scores Rs 100 Crore In 4 Days
Recently, Akshay Kumar reunited with filmmaker Priyadarshan after 16 years for the horror comedy Bhooth Bangla.
Produced by Ekta Kapoor, Bhooth Bangla also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Rajesh Sharma and Asrani.
The movie opened to mixed reviews, but that didn’t stop the audiences from going to the theatres to catch Akshay Kumar’s antics on-screen.
As per the official figures, the movie opened to Rs 17.90 crore including paid previews and collected Rs 21.75 crore on day two. It further witnessed massive growth on day three earning Rs 25.60 crore, taking its opening weekend biz to Rs 65.25 crore.
On day four, the movie managed to drop less than 50 percent, collecting a strong Rs 8.10 crore. The 5-day box office of Bhooth Bangla
now stands at Rs 73.35 crore.Sharing the box office biz, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “#BhoothBangla passes the all-important make-or-break Monday test after a solid weekend... The Monday hold was crucial – it indicates that the film has found acceptance and is well on track to emerge as a success story.

As per the trade figures, the 4-day biz of Bhooth Bangla is Rs 61.75 crore as it made Rs 15.25 crore on day one including paid previews, Rs 18.50 crore on day two, Rs 22 crore on day three and Rs 6.15 crore on day four.
At the worldwide box office, Bhooth Bangla has made over Rs 100 crore in just four days.
The movie is made on a reported budget of Rs 120 crore and is expected to have a decent hold in the biz in the opening week for a good run at the box office till Riteish Deshmukh’s Raja Shivaji
