iPhone Record Sale: Apple has set a new record in terms of iPhone sales . Between January and March of this year, the company sold iPhones worth $57 billion. This is the highest sales in any quarter ending in March. Last year during this period, Apple had a revenue of approximately $47 billion, which has increased by about 22 percent this time. This is despite the company lagging behind its competitors in terms of AI. Apart from products, the company's service division has also earned a lot. 

Sales of iPads and services are also strong.

Like the iPhone, iPad sales have also been strong. In the quarter ending in March, the company generated revenue of $6.91 billion, which is 8 percent more than the same period last year. If we talk about services, it is the second largest business segment of the company and it has also generated record revenue. Apple earned approximately $31 billion from services in this quarter, which is 16.3 percent more on a yearly basis. Apple's services unit includes App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV Plus, Apple Books, Apple Podcasts, Apple Pay , Apple Card and Apple Cash etc.

iPhone 17 series gave wings to growth

Apple's iPhone 17 series has been a superhit, selling strongly since its launch. This series has contributed significantly to generating record revenue. Apple CFO Kevan Parekh stated that the iPhone 17 series is the most popular in the company's history. He added that the launch of the new iPhone 17 Pro models in a redesign has worked. In addition to the Pro models, the base model of this series, the iPhone 17, is also performing exceptionally well.

What about the rest of the units?

The company's wearables, home, and accessories unit is also seeing gains everywhere. This unit exceeded expectations, reporting revenue of $7.91 billion. Its total sales last year were $7.52 billion. Overall, Apple generated revenue of $111.18 billion in the quarter ending in March, a 16.6 percent increase from the previous year. Net income also increased by 19 percent to $29.58 billion.
