CM Siddaramaiah felicitated ahead of Bahubali Mahamastakabhisheka in Karkala

Karkala: Ahead of the upcoming Mahamastakabhisheka of Lord Bahubali, the festival committee on Wednesday honoured Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at a programme held in Karkala.

The event took place at the auditorium of Mahatma Gandhi Residential High School in Kukkundoor. Dr M.N. Rajendra Kumar, working president of the Mahamastakabhisheka Committee and president of SCDCC Bank, felicitated the Chief Minister. Committee members briefed him on the preparations for the grand religious event.

Former Chief Minister M. Veerappa Moily, Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar, MLC Ivan D’Souza, SCDCC Bank director Deviprasad Shetty Belapu, Muniyal Uday Kumar Shetty, former mayor Bhaskar Moily, and committee office-bearers including Pushparaj Jain and Sunil Kumar Bajagoli were among those present.

Later, Siddaramaiah inaugurated the newly constructed ‘Kisan Sabha Hall’ on Taluk Office Road in Karkala. The hall has been built by the Kisan Sabha Trust.

The trust’s founder-president and former Chief Minister Dr M. Veerappa Moily led the inauguration programme and informed the Chief Minister about the trust’s activities and future plans. Local representatives, party leaders and members of the Kisan Sabha Trust attended the function.
