**The Color of Moles on the Body:** We all have moles located somewhere on our bodies. Moles can be black, red, brown, yellow, or light green in color. *Samudrik Shastra* (the science of body reading) outlines the potential benefits and adversities associated with moles, based on their location and color. Some people regard moles as symbols of good fortune, happiness, and prosperity, while others associate them with misfortune, poor health, and similar negative aspects. The specific meaning of a mole varies depending on the part of the body where it is located and its particular color. The color of a mole is linked to a specific planet, and its influence is often observed to mirror the nature of that planet. For some individuals, these moles may be present from birth, while for others, they may appear and disappear over the course of their lives.

Rules for Predictions Based on Body Moles

Acharya Rajiv Kaushik—an expert in *Samudrik Shastra* and Palmistry—states that there are specific rules governing predictions related to moles on the body, and these rules must be kept in mind. If a person has a mole on their body that has been present since birth, no specific prediction is typically made regarding it; moles present from birth are generally not taken into consideration for predictive purposes. However, if a mole appears on a person's body *after* birth—or becomes visible at a specific point in time—then predictions relevant to that mole should be made. The color of the mole is a factor of paramount importance in this regard.

The Significance of Mole Colors on the Body

**Black Moles:** If a black-colored mole is present on the body, it is associated with the planet Rahu. Black moles are generally linked to the influence of either Saturn (Shani) or Rahu. The specific area of the body where a black mole is located is believed to experience the inauspicious influence of either Rahu or Saturn.

**Red Moles:** If you have a red-colored mole on your body, it is associated with the planet Mars (Mangal). This type of mole exerts an influence distinct from that of ordinary moles. It can manifest both auspicious (beneficial) and inauspicious (detrimental) effects. A red mole located on the face is considered a source of distress or difficulty in one's marital and family life. Conversely, a red mole on the arms signifies financial stability and strength. A red mole on the chest is a symbol of opportunities for foreign travel and the accumulation of abundant wealth. A red mole on the back symbolizes valor and courage; individuals possessing such a mole are often found working in professions related to the military or security services. Yellow-Colored Mole: For individuals who have a yellow-colored mole or mark on their body, it is believed to be associated with the divine preceptor, Jupiter (Brihaspati).

Blackish-Yellow Mole:

If the color of your mole is a mix of black and yellow, you should exercise caution, as this serves as an indicator of illness. There is a possibility of contracting a serious ailment; specifically, issues related to the liver or skin may arise.

Brown-Colored Mole: If you have a brown-colored mole on your body, it is associated with the planet Venus. While in certain specific locations, such a mole is considered highly auspicious, it is generally interpreted as having an inauspicious influence.

Green-Colored Mole:

In some individuals, a mole may appear slightly green in color; this is associated with the planet Mercury.

If a mole is present on your palm, it will influence the attributes associated with that specific location. It creates a defect or imbalance in that area. You can mitigate this defect by performing specific astrological remedies. The appearance of a mole on the palm often indicates the manifestation of issues related to the planets Saturn and Rahu.
