Dhurandhar Actor Praises Aditya Dhar's Calm Nature, “Even If Fight Breaks Out….”

Energy, laughter and intense action defined the experience of working on Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, according to actor Ashwin Dhar. The actor, who played Arshad Pappu in the franchise, recently opened up about his time on set and his bond with co-star Ranveer Singh.

Ashwin described Ranveer as someone who brings unmatched energy to the set. He shared that the actor constantly keeps the atmosphere lively, making people laugh and ensuring everyone feels comfortable. Despite being a big star, Ranveer stays calm, friendly and approachable, greeting everyone warmly and maintaining a positive vibe throughout the shoot.

He also had kind words for director Aditya Dhar whom he called a calm and composed leader. According to Ashwin, even if there is as situation of fight due to a large cast and complex scenes, Aditya Dhar never lost his cool. He remained focused, with a clear vision of the script, and handled everything with patience. Ashwin also highlighted that beyond being a skilled director, Aditya is genuinely a good human being.

Talking about his own role, Ashwin revealed that some scenes were particularly challenging, especially the sequence involving the d*ath of his character, Arshad Pappu. The scene required a lot of effort and time to shoot but it eventually received strong appreciation from the audience.

Dhurandhar 2 features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun and Gaurav Gera. The first film in the franchise also featured Akshaye Khanna in an important role.

The franchise has achieved a major milestone by crossing Rs 3000 crore globally, becoming the first Indian film series to do so. Produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film continues to break records.

Released just four months after the first part, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge has taken the story to a bigger scale. Ranveer Singh-led action film has already earned over Rs 1700 crore worldwide and is still performing strongly across many regions.
