Even as India revelled in the festive spirit, startup funding took a heavy hit this week. Between October 20 and 25, only three startup funding deals materialised, seeing Uniphore, UnifyApps and Michezo Sports together raise $312.5 Mn in fresh capital.

This marked a 57% decline from the $737.4 Mn raised by 30 startups in the preceding week.
