Guruprasad Srinivasan resigns as ED, Quess Corp

Bengaluru: Guruprasad Srinivasan on Monday resigned as the executive director at Quess Corp, a business services provider based in Bengaluru. The resignation will take effect from May 31, according to an exchange filing by the company.

Quess Corp board of directors which met in Bengaluru on Monday evening accepted his resignation while placing on record its deep appreciation for his valuable guidance, leadership, and contributions during his long tenure with the Company. The company also said it would look forward to his continued association in an advisory role, the note to the exchange said.

The board also appointed ED & Group CEO Lohit Bhatia as a whole-time director effective from June 1 for a three-year period.

Srinivasan has been associated with Quess for 18 years and was the Group ED & CEO since February 2022. Before elevation, he was Quess Corp’s chief operating officer from April 2019.

In his resignation letter, he said there are no material reasons for his resignation. “It has been a privilege to serve on the Board and contribute to the growth and governance of the company,” Srinivasan said, thanking the board, management and stakeholders for all the support received.

Srinivasan rose through the ranks, joining as general manager ( staffing solutions) before heading the India operations and assuming the global role. His journey saw the company grow from a startup to a large private sector employer with operations across eight countries.

Under his watch, the company achieved key financial milestones, including strong top-line growth, margin expansion, and improvement in profitability and balance-sheet strength and completion of a demerger.
