Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has expanded its 125cc portfolio with the launch of two special variants — the Dio 125 X Edition and the Shine 125 Limited Edition. Priced at ₹87,733 and ₹86,211 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi), both models arrive with refreshed styling while retaining their existing mechanical specifications.
Bookings for the new editions have commenced both online through Honda’s official website and at authorised dealerships. Deliveries are scheduled to begin from the second week of February 2026
The Dio 125 X Edition receives a distinct visual update with dual-tone body panels in grey and dark blue, complemented by new graphics and exclusive X Edition decals. A standout feature is the inclusion of bright orange alloy wheels, lending the scooter a sportier appearance compared to the standard model.
Apart from cosmetic enhancements, the Dio 125 X Edition remains mechanically unchanged and continues to be based on the H-Smart variant
In terms of dimensions, the scooter measures 1,830 mm in length, 707 mm in width, and 1,172 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,260 mm. It offers 171 mm ground clearance, a 708 mm seat length, and a kerb weight of 105 kg. Fuel tank capacity stands at 5.3 litres.
Power comes from a 123.92 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine producing 8.1 hp at 6,500 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm
The Shine 125 Limited Edition distinguishes itself through updated styling elements and a new Pearl Siren Blue colour scheme. The motorcycle features dark blue body panels, refreshed Shine graphics on the fuel tank, and redesigned components such as the front visor, side covers, and rear cowl
Mechanically, the Limited Edition remains identical to the regular model. It is powered by a 123.94 cc BS6-compliant, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 10.6 hp at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox
With these special editions, HMSI aims to offer customers a refreshed design experience in the competitive 125cc segment without altering the proven performance and reliability of its existing models.
