US President Donald Trump on Tuesday claimed that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is "not that happy" with him because India is facing heavy tariffs for stopping the purchase of Russian oil.
Trump said that I have a very good relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but he is not very happy with me because you know that due to not trading oil, he is now having to pay very high tariffs.
Modi came to meet me
Donald Trump, in his address to a meeting of House Republican Party members, also claimed that "Prime Minister Modi came to see me and said, 'Sir, can I meet with you?' Yes." "I have a very good relationship with him. He's not that happy with me because, you know, they were paying very high tariffs right now because they weren't trading oil with Russia, but now they've reduced it significantly."
