Kawasaki Launches 2026 Ninja 1100SX in India with New Black-Gold Paint, Priced at ₹14.42 Lakh
Kawasaki India has expanded its 2026 motorcycle lineup in the Indian market with the launch of the updated Ninja 1100SX. After introducing the 2026 Ninja 650 and Versys 650, the Japanese manufacturer has now brought its popular sport-touring motorcycle in a refreshed avatar. The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX has been priced at ₹14.42 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
For the 2026 model year, Kawasaki has focused on a subtle but striking update rather than a mechanical overhaul. The biggest change comes in the form of a new Black and Gold colour scheme, which replaces the earlier Black and Green combination. This premium-looking paint job adds a more elegant and mature appeal to the Ninja 1100SX, making it stand out in the sport-touring segment.
Apart from the new colour option, the motorcycle remains mechanically identical to the outgoing version. Kawasaki appears to be following a consistent strategy for its 2026 range, offering cosmetic updates while retaining proven hardware.
Engine and Performance DetailsThe 2026 Ninja 1100SX continues to be powered by a 1,099cc liquid-cooled, inline four-cylinder engine
Instead of chasing extremely high revs, the engine is designed to provide robust mid-range performance, which is ideal for long-distance touring, highway cruising, and effortless overtakes. This makes the Ninja 1100SX a well-balanced motorcycle for riders who want both comfort and performance in one package.
Importantly, the engine is now compliant with E20 fuel standards
The Ninja 1100SX is built around a lightweight aluminium frame, contributing to stability and confident handling. Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable Showa units at both the front and rear, allowing riders to fine-tune the setup according to riding style and load conditions.
For braking, Kawasaki uses Tokico-branded calipers
In terms of electronics, the 2026 Ninja 1100SX carries forward the comprehensive rider assistance package seen on the previous model. The motorcycle features four riding modes
The Rider mode is fully customizable, enabling owners to tailor the motorcycle’s behaviour according to personal preference. This flexibility makes the Ninja 1100SX suitable for a wide range of riders, from touring-focused users to those who enjoy sporty weekend rides.
A six-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU)
The motorcycle is fitted with a 4.3-inch TFT colour display, which serves as the main interface for the rider. The layout of the screen changes slightly depending on the selected riding mode, offering relevant information in a clear and intuitive format.
Smartphone connectivity is available via Kawasaki’s Rideology app
The 2026 Ninja 1100SX will be sold alongside the MY25 version in the Indian market. The older model continues to be available in Metallic Carbon Gray and Metallic Diablo Black colour options. Kawasaki has adopted a similar dual-model sales strategy for other motorcycles in its 2026 portfolio as well.
With its premium new paint scheme, unchanged pricing, and proven mechanical package, the 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 1100SX
