During the event, the government is expected to transfer the 34th installment of the scheme directly into beneficiaries’ bank accounts. Preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit have already begun in the city.
Apart from the Ladli Behna program, the Chief Minister is also likely to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for several development projects
If the installment is released during the event, lakhs of women across the state will receive the monthly financial assistance on the same day.

Since its launch, the scheme has benefited millions of women, helping them manage everyday expenses and strengthen their economic participation within families.
Usually, the installment amount under the Ladli Behna Yojana is credited before the 10th of every month. However, the 33rd installment was transferred on February 14, which was later than the usual schedule.
This month too, beneficiaries had to wait slightly longer than expected. Now, reports indicate that the 34th installment may be credited on March 13
In recent months, the government has reviewed beneficiary records and removed more than one lakh names from the scheme.
Many of these beneficiaries were removed because:
-
Their age exceeded 60 years
-
They no longer met the eligibility criteria

This verification process was carried out to ensure that the financial assistance reaches only eligible women.
