Maharashtra TET 2025 notification released, know everything from eligibility to application process.

Maharashtra State Examination Council has issued a big notification for the candidates who dream of becoming a teachers. The council has announced the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test.

The application process for the MAHA TET 2025 exam has started today. Candidates can apply online by visiting its official website mahatet.in and mscepune.in.

The admit card of MAHA TET 2025 will be released on November 10. After this, the examination will be conducted on November 23 across Maharashtra. The exam will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be from 10:30 am to 1 pm, in which the paper will be conducted for teachers teaching classes 1 to 5. The second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5 pm, in which candidates teaching classes 6 to 8 will be included.

The minimum educational qualification for this exam has been kept different according to the post. For Paper 1, the candidate must be 12th pass and must have a D.Ed or B.Ed degree. For Paper 2, the candidate must be 12th pass or graduate and must have a D.Ed or B.Ed. If a candidate wants to apply for both papers, he must have a D.Ed or B.Ed degree along with 12th pass or graduation.

The fees for the MAHA TET exam have also been kept different. If a candidate applies only for Paper 1 or Paper 2, then he will have to deposit a fee of Rs 700. On the other hand, if a candidate wants to apply for both papers, then he will have to pay a total of Rs 900. The fee can be paid through online mode only.

The exam pattern of MAHA TET will remain the same as before. In Paper 1, questions will be asked from subjects like Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Maths and Environmental Studies. There will be 30 questions from each subject and the total marks of the paper will be 150.

In paper 2 also, questions will come from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1 and Language 2. Apart from this, the candidate will have to choose one subject from Maths and Science or Social Science as per his qualification. There will be a total of 150 questions in this paper and the maximum marks will be 150 only.

In this recruitment process, the candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and document verification. First there will be a written examination, in which successful candidates will be called for document verification. The selection of the candidate will be considered confirmed only after all the documents are found correct.
