NEET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Undergraduate (NEET UG 2026). Eligible candidates can now apply until March 11, 2026, at 9:00 pm. Candidates seeking admission to MBBS and BDS courses can complete the application process by visiting the official website,neet.nta.nic.in.
According to the NTA, the deadline for submitting the application fee has also been extended to 11:50 pm on March 11. Candidates are advised to apply as early as possible to avoid a last-minute rush.
The NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on May 3, 2026. The exam will be conducted offline, i.e., in pen-and-paper mode, at various exam centers across the country. This exam provides admission to MBBS and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses in medical and dental colleges across the country.
Required Documents for Application
While filling out the NEET UG 2026 application form, candidates will need to upload certain required documents. These include Class 10th and 12th certificates, a valid photo ID, category or PwBD certificate (if applicable), address information, a scanned photograph, and a signature.
Application Fee
Candidates applying for NEET UG 2026 must pay the prescribed fee. The application fee for General and NRI category candidates is ₹1700. For General-EWS and OBC-NCL category candidates, the fee is ₹1600. For SC, ST, PwBD, and third gender category candidates, the application fee is ₹1000. For exam centers located outside India, the application fee is ₹9500.
