NTPC Green Energy group firm to begin 150 MW supply from solar project on Saturday
New Delhi: State-owned power giant NTPC on Friday said its arm NGEL's group firm will begin commercial electricity supply of 150 MW from a 300 MW solar project in Rajasthan from April 18, 2026.
The 300 MW solar project located in Rajasthan is of Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Ltd, a step-down subsidiary of its joint venture ONGC NTPC Green Private Ltd, a filing said.

With the addition of above, the total installed capacity of the NGEL group will increase to 10,276.40 MW.
With this, the total installed capacity of the NTPC group stands at 89,528 MW and commercial capacity at 88,448 MW.
