According to a recent report, one in three dating app users has used Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge to search for jobs. This shift comes at a time when competition in the job market has increased, and AI is fueling uncertainty about their future. Some survey respondents in the US reported that the new approach has proven effective, allowing them to meet people who could help them find a job. 39 percent of survey respondents said they had arranged interviews through dating apps, while 37 percent had even received job offers through this method.

Why are people looking for jobs on dating apps?

42 percent of those surveyed said it's difficult to find a job on other platforms. Online job portals are already flooded with job seekers, and recruiters are now using AI tools for screening, leaving their resumes buried in the system.
