Bihar farmers will receive additional benefits
Under the central government scheme, farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually, disbursed in three equal installments of ₹2,000. Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has launched the "Karpoori Thakur Samman Nidhi Yojana" for farmers in the state, providing an additional ₹3,000 annually. If the funds from both schemes are released simultaneously, Bihar farmers could receive up to ₹3,000 instead of ₹2,000 this time.
When will the installment arrive?
It is expected that the 22nd installment of PM-KISAN will soon be deposited into farmers' bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). However, the official date has not yet been announced. Holika Dahan is on March 3rd and Holi is on March 4th. Given the festive atmosphere, speculation is rife that the installment amount may be released immediately after Holi.

- e-KYC is mandatory: Aadhaar-based e-KYC is mandatory on the PM Kisan portal. If you have not done so, you will not receive the installment.
- Land Seeding: Your land records must be verified. If there are any discrepancies, contact your district agriculture office immediately.
- Aadhaar-Bank Linking: Your bank account must be linked to your Aadhaar card. NPCI mapping must also be activated on the account.
