Publicis Media launches Spark Foundry to deepen India play

Mumbai: The local unit of the Publicis Groupe has launched Spark Foundry India to reinforce its position in the country's advertising market and expand its portfolio, building on strong growth driven by data, technology and AI-led media solutions.

Spark Foundry, a global agency within the Publicis Media network, will debut in India with an AI and data powered model that brings brand building, performance and commerce together in a unified framework designed to deliver measurable outcomes across the marketing funnel.

Niti Kumar, formerly chief growth officer at Publicis Media India, has been appointed chief executive officer of Spark Foundry India. She will lead the agency's growth strategy and strengthen its positioning as a high performance media brand.

Ravi Bhaya has been elevated to chief growth officer of Publicis Media India to drive network wide expansion. Zenith and Starcom will continue under the leadership of Jai Lala and Rathi Gangappa, who now take on expanded mandates within Publicis Connected Media. Jai will sponsor Connected CRM, while Rathi will sponsor Connected Influence, enhancing the network's integrated and data driven capabilities.

All four leaders, Niti Kumar, Jai Lala, Rathi Gangappa and Ravi Bhaya, will report to Lalatendu Das, CEO of Publicis Media South Asia. Das said their combined expertise will be key to strengthening the company's strategic vision, deepening client partnerships and creating new opportunities for innovation and growth in India's evolving media ecosystem.
