Ramakunja: Explosives used for well digging, nearby houses damaged; complaint filed

Kadaba: An incident where the use of explosives for digging a well caused damage to nearby houses occurred on March 8 at Kampa in Ramakunja village of Kadaba taluk.

Meanwhile, personnel from the bomb disposal squad commenced an operation on the morning of March 10 to remove unexploded materials remaining inside the well.

Somashekhara, a resident of Mysuru, had purchased 23 cents of land featuring areca nut trees from his relatives at Kampa in Ramakunja village.

While digging a well for water on this land, rocks were encountered at a depth of about 15 feet, prompting the use of explosives. When the explosives were detonated on March 8, the walls of the nearby houses belonging to Vamana Moolya and K.T. Mohana developed cracks.
