In recent days, people have been seen standing in long queues at petrol pumps across several districts in Telangana. The situation has been influenced by rumours about a possible rise in fuel prices and supply shortages.

Taking advantage of this situation, the dealer introduced the petrol offer as a marketing strategy to attract more customers.

Government clarifies fuel availability

Amid growing concerns, the Telangana Civil Supplies Department has clarified that there is no shortage of petrol or diesel in the state. Officials stated that fuel stocks are sufficient and urged people not to panic.

Despite this clarification, reports suggest that some people have been storing fuel in cans and barrels at home due to fear of future shortages.
