UPSC NDA, CDS 2026: An opportunity to become an officer in the armed forces; the last date to fill out the form is fast approaching.
UPSC NDA, CDS 2026 Registration: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will soon close the online application process for the NDA and CDS 2026. Candidates can apply on the official website until 6 pm tomorrow (December 30). Applications will not be accepted after that date.
The UPSC released the notification for the NDA & NA (I) 2026 and CDS (I) 2026 on December 10, 2025. A total of 394 posts will be filled in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Naval Academy through the NDA & NA (I) 2026. 451 posts will be filled through the CDS (I). The written exam will be held on April 12, 2026.
UPSC NDA Eligibility: UPSC NDA Eligibility and Application Fee
Only unmarried male and female candidates can apply for the NDA exam. Candidates must be born between July 1, 2007, and July 1, 2010. They must also meet the educational qualifications and physical standards.
The application fee is ₹100 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. SC, ST, female candidates, and wards of JCOs, NCOs, and ORs are exempted.
UPSC CDS Eligibility: UPSC CDS Eligibility and Application Fee
For the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officers Training Academy (OTA), a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized university is required.
For the Indian Naval Academy (INA), an engineering degree from a recognized university or institute is required.
For the Air Force Academy (AFA), a bachelor's degree from a recognized university with Physics and Mathematics at the 10+2 level is mandatory, or a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree is mandatory.
The application fee is ₹200 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates. There is no fee for female candidates and SC/ST candidates.
Selection Process
The selection process for both the NDA and CDS exams is the same. Candidates must first pass a written exam. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for an SSB interview. The final stage will be document verification and a medical examination.

Fill in your personal and educational details.
Upload your photo, signature, and identity proof.

Submit the form before 6 pm on December 30, 2025.
