Indian company signs deal with US-based Northstar to bring advanced air-to-air refuelling systems to India

NEW DELHI: A Mumbai-based defence and space engineering company has entered into an agreement with US-based Bandak Aviation (DBA Northstar) to bring advanced air-to-air refuelling systems and related support to India in order to cater to the demand of the Indian armed forces.

The pact between Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd and Northstar will help bring advanced technologies in air-to-air refuelling systems to India as Northstar is globally recognised for its expertise in designing, developing, manufacturing, enhancing and provisioning of aerial (air-to-air) refuelling systems. These systems are widely deployed across a range of airborne platforms, enhancing mission endurance and operational flexibility.

Amit Mahajan, director, Paras Defence, said, “This agreement marks a significant step in expanding our capabilities in advanced aerospace solutions.
