On November 27, the Incheon Police Agency's drug crime investigation unit chose not to prolong G-Dragon's travel ban. Meanwhile, it's been reported that a request for an extension of Lee Sun Gyun's travel restriction has been submitted to the Ministry of Justice.

On November 27, a substantive review of a warrant was conducted regarding Mr. A, a current doctor suspected of supplying drugs to Lee Sun Gyun and others. Despite being identified as a drug supplier by Mr. B, the entertainment establishment manager, the request for an arrest warrant for Mr. A was ultimately denied.

Both Lee Sun Gyun and G-Dragon had previously tested negative for drug use. Moreover, criticisms persist that the police may have engaged in an unjustifiable investigation, especially with the lifting of G-Dragon's travel restriction and the rejection of the arrest warrant for Mr. A, suspected of being a supplier. This has led to concerns that the police might have been driven to a challenging position, prompting such actions.

During a press conference on November 27 KST, a senior official from the National Police Agency discussed the potential scenario wherein G-Dragon might not face indictment, "I think all possibilities are open until a conclusion is reached. There are some additional details that need to be investigated,” he said.

He went on to say, "If it is clear that drug use is evident in various circumstances, it is not right to send the case to indictment because it is negative. The conclusion is yet to be seen."

He mentioned that in certain instances, despite a negative outcome in the detailed analysis, the circumstances surrounding drug use were unmistakably disclosed, leading to a verdict of guilt.
