According to the latest reports from Mid-Day, sources close to director Sandeep Reddy Vanga have revealed that the writing stage for "Animal Park" is set to commence in February. Currently, the director is preparing to shoot his cop thriller, "Spirit," alongside Prabhas in the coming months. Meanwhile, the writing team will be engrossed in developing the script for the sequel, based on the plotline provided by Sandeep.
The source further disclosed that the basic structure of "Animal Park" was already in place during the writing of "Animal," as it was conceived to be a multi-film project. The second installment will reportedly delve into the character of Ranbir Kapoor (Ranvijay) and his doppelgänger. The sequel will also explore the relationships involving Rashmika Mandanna's character, Geetanjali, with Ranvijay, as well as Ranvijay's relationship with his son.
“The idea is that while Sandeep shoots Spirit, he will take monthly updates on the script primarily being written by Pranay Vanga. He will actively work with the writers only in the second half of 2024.” The source adds, “Ranbir Kapoor will focus on Animal Park only next year.”

Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director, maintained a high level of secrecy regarding various aspects of the script.
