2026 Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift: Major Design and Feature Upgrades Revealed
After refreshing the Thar, Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to introduce facelifted versions of two of its most popular SUVs — the XUV700 and the Scorpio N. Both models are expected to debut in 2026 and are currently undergoing road testing.
Fresh Design Updates
Spy shots of the upcoming Scorpio N facelift reveal that while the overall silhouette will remain familiar, the SUV is set to receive noticeable styling changes. Expect a redesigned front grille, new bumpers, sharper LED headlamps with signature DRLs, and fresh alloy wheels. Mahindra might also introduce new exterior color options and variants to enhance the SUV’s appeal.
Feature Enhancements and Safety Upgrades
Inside the cabin, Mahindra is expected to add several premium and tech-forward updates. The 2026 Scorpio N could feature a larger touchscreen infotainment system with a refreshed user interface, along with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. Top variants may finally get a panoramic sunroof — a long-awaited addition. Moreover, the inclusion of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and additional safety features across select variants is likely.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the Scorpio N facelift will continue with the same engine options — the 2.0-liter turbo-petrol and 2.2-liter diesel units. However, Mahindra may refine these engines for smoother performance and improved fuel efficiency. Transmission choices are expected to remain the same, offering both manual and automatic options.
Mini Scorpio Coming in 2027
In addition to the facelift, Mahindra is developing a new compact SUV based on the Vision S concept unveiled on August 15, 2025. Expected to be called the “Mini Scorpio,” this SUV will be built on the NU_IQ monocoque modular platform, supporting petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric powertrains. Its launch is anticipated in 2027.
