Dominating the Charts
In FY 2024-25, Hero MotoCorp registered retail sales of over 54.45 lakh units, maintaining a firm grip on the top spot in India’s two-wheeler market , according to FADA. The momentum carried through March 2025 as well, with retail sales touching 4.35 lakh units that month alone.
On the wholesale front, Hero dispatched nearly 5.9 million units in the full financial year, including 5.94 lakh in March — a robust 12% jump compared to March 2024.
Electric Moves with VIDA
Hero’s electric brand, VIDA, is slowly but steadily carving out its space. The VIDA V2 electric scooter clocked 48,674 units in FY’25 retail sales, up 2.36% from last year. March alone saw 7,982 units sold — a 3.21% increase year-on-year. In total, Hero sold over 58,000 electric scooters this fiscal, marking a massive 200% surge from FY’24 — its best EV performance to date.
Global Expansion Gathers Speed

Powering Ahead with New Launches
Fueling Hero’s growth was a series of fresh product launches that hit the sweet spot with consumers. From the sporty Xtreme 250R and adventure-ready Xpulse 210 to upgraded scooters like Destini 125, Xoom 125, Xoom 160, and the new VIDA V2 line — Hero expanded its appeal across categories.
The Road Ahead
With a firm handle on the present and eyes on the future, Hero MotoCorp isn’t just maintaining its lead — it’s building on it. Innovation, expansion, and customer trust remain the fuel behind this 25-year winning streak. And from the looks of it, Hero’s ride is far from over.
