Hyundai Creta, Alcazar, Creta Electric Lounge Editions: Prices, what's new
Hyundai has launched the new Lounge Editions of the Creta, Alcazar and Creta Electric in India. The special editions bring a range of styling and cabin upgrades, with the biggest highlight being a new 11.6-inch rear-seat entertainment system . Prices start at Rs 19.21 lakh, ex-showroom, for the Creta Lounge Edition.
The Lounge Editions are based on the top-spec variants of the three SUVs. All three models get a new Golden Bronze exterior colour along with black exterior elements, including the front and rear skid plates, side sill garnish, rear spoiler, roof rails and ORVMs. Black wheels further add to the new look.
Inside, the Lounge Editions get a new 11.6-inch Rear Seat Entertainment System. The system supports OTT content, video streaming, interactive gaming, applications through a certified app store and phone mirroring. It is paired with the existing 8-speaker Bose premium sound system , which also includes a front central speaker and subwoofer.
Hyundai has also made changes to the cabin across all three models. They get Lounge-exclusive interiors with silver-coloured inserts, a new seat design pattern, rear-seat headrest cushions carrying Lounge branding and Moonwhite ambient lighting.
The Creta Lounge Edition is based on the King trims and is available with the 1.5-litre MPi petrol iVT and 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel AT powertrains. Exterior changes include R18 matte black alloy wheels along with the new black treatment and Golden Bronze paint option.
The Alcazar Lounge Edition takes a slightly different approach. It is available exclusively in a five-seater configuration and is based on the Signature variant. It is powered by the 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It also gets a voice-enabled smart panoramic sunroof, apart from the rear entertainment system and Lounge-specific interior and exterior updates.
The Creta Electric Lounge Edition is based on the Excellence Long Range variant with Home Charger Option. It gets R17 black aero alloys, along with the Golden Bronze exterior and black exterior elements. Inside, Hyundai has added a dashcam and rear wireless charger, in addition to the Lounge Edition-specific features and 11.6-inch rear entertainment system.
The Creta Lounge Edition is priced from Rs 19,21,700 for the 1.5 MPi IVT King Lounge, while the dual-tone version costs Rs 19,36,700. The 1.5 CRDi AT King Lounge is priced at Rs 20,30,700, with the dual-tone version costing Rs 20,45,700.
The Alcazar Lounge Edition starts at Rs 21,80,700 for the 1.5 AT Signature 5S Lounge, while the dual-tone version is priced at Rs 21,95,700.
For the Creta Electric, prices start at Rs 24,34,100 for the Excellence LR Lounge. The Excellence LR Lounge DT costs Rs 24,49,100, while the Excellence LR (HC) Lounge is priced at Rs 25,07,100. The dual-tone Excellence LR (HC) Lounge costs Rs 25,22,100.
