Expected Design Changes

Based on the latest spy images, the Hyundai Verna Facelift 2026 appears to carry forward the same overall silhouette as the current model. However, the test vehicle was partially camouflaged at the front and rear, hinting at several styling revisions.

At the front, the Hyundai Verna facelift is expected to receive a redesigned grille, updated LED headlamps, and refreshed daytime running lights (DRLs). The bumper design may also be revised to give the sedan a sportier and more modern appearance.

At the rear, the facelifted model will likely retain its signature connected tail lamp setup, which has become a distinctive design element. A redesigned rear bumper may also be introduced to enhance the car’s sporty styling.

Expected Features and Technology

Inside the cabin, the Hyundai Verna Facelift 2026 could feature noticeable upgrades. According to spy shots of the interior, the sedan may get a redesigned dashboard layout along with a new steering wheel design.

The upcoming model is expected to include a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, offering improved connectivity and user experience. Hyundai is also likely to enhance the car’s safety features by introducing an upgraded Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite, which could include functions such as lane-keeping assistance, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance systems.

Engine and Performance

While the Hyundai Verna Facelift 2026 may bring cosmetic and feature upgrades, the mechanical setup is expected to remain largely unchanged. The sedan will likely continue with the same engine options currently available in the market.

The existing model comes with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing around 115PS of power, and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine delivering up to 160PS. These engines are paired with either a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) or a DCT (Dual-Clutch Transmission) gearbox.

With its refreshed design, updated technology, and reliable performance, the Hyundai Verna Facelift 2026 could remain a strong contender in India’s midsize sedan market once it officially launches.
