Kia Carens Clavis gets more affordable automatics: Prices, details
Kia India has expanded the automatic transmission options for the Carens Clavis. The new options are available with both turbo-petrol and diesel powertrains , with prices starting at Rs 14.67 lakh, ex-showroom.
The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a DCT is now available on the HTE (EX) and HTE (O) variants. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre diesel engine gets an automatic transmission option on the HTE (O) trim.
Kia Carens Clavis new automatic variants and pricesThe HTE (O) turbo-petrol DCT is the most affordable automatic in the newly expanded range, priced at Rs 14,66,900, ex-showroom. The HTE (EX) with the same 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and DCT costs Rs 15,21,900.
The diesel automatic option is available with the HTE (O) trim at Rs 15,81,900, ex-showroom.
The company has also added a set of convenience features as part of the Automatic Pack. These include a Smart Key with Motion Sensor , push-button start, drive modes, electronic parking brake and remote engine start.
Kia Carens Clavis EV gets lifetime battery warranty Alongside the new automatic variants, Kia has also updated the warranty package for the Carens Clavis EV. The lifetime battery warranty is applicable to the first private owner of a new Carens Clavis EV purchased from August 1, 2026.
Under the new coverage, the battery gets a 15-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty. Commercial and fleet customers, along with subsequent owners, continue to get Kia's standard battery warranty of eight years or 1.6 lakh km, whichever comes earlier.
The Carens Clavis EV is currently priced between Rs 18.04 lakh and Rs 25 lakh, ex-showroom. It is available with two battery packs. The 42 kWh version has a claimed range of 404 km, while the larger 51.4 kWh battery offers a claimed range of 490 km on a single charge.
