South Korean automaker Kia has refreshed its popular SUV with the launch of the all-new Kia Syros (MY26) in India. With a sharper design, updated features, and a more competitive starting price, the latest version aims to attract a wider set of buyers in the segment.

More Affordable Entry Price

The new Kia Syros now starts at ₹8.39 lakh (ex-showroom), making it more accessible than its predecessor, which was priced at ₹8.67 lakh. The top-end variant goes up to ₹15.79 lakh. Buyers can choose from four trims, HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O), and HTX(O), offering flexibility across budgets and feature preferences.

Engine Options and Performance

Under the hood, the SUV offers two engine choices. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit delivers 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque, paired with either a manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. For those who prefer diesel, the 1.5-litre engine produces 116 PS and 250 Nm, available with both manual and automatic transmissions. Notably, the diesel automatic option is now limited to the HTK+ variant, helping bring down the entry cost.

Sportier Design Updates

The new Syros gets a more dynamic look with a redesigned front bumper, aero-styled elements, LED fog lamps, and a black skid plate. At the rear, it features an updated bumper and LED stop lamps. Enhancing its sporty appeal are glossy black roof rails, ORVMs, and stylish 17-inch alloy wheels.

Premium Features and Safety

Inside, the SUV steps up its game with a large 30-inch panoramic display and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Comfort is boosted with ventilated seats for both front and rear passengers. It also offers over 80 connected car features, making it a tech-forward option in its class.


On the safety front, the Syros has secured a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP and comes equipped with more than 20 safety features, ensuring a secure driving experience.

With a lower starting price, upgraded features, and a refreshed design, the new Kia Syros MY26 positions itself as a strong contender in the compact SUV space. It blends affordability with premium touches, making it an appealing choice for modern buyers.
