Tata Harrier EV Rolls Off Production Line: Launch, Price, and Features Inside

Tata Motors has officially begun production of the all-electric Tata Harrier EV at its Pune facility, with deliveries scheduled to begin later this July 2025. As Tata’s most advanced and powerful EV yet, it marks a major milestone-introducing all-wheel-drive (AWD) capability for the first time in the brand’s electric lineup.

Performance & Powertrain Options

The Harrier EV is available in rear-wheel-drive (RWD) and AWD variants with two LFP battery options-65 kWh and 75 kWh.

• The RWD versions (238 hp) feature a single motor mounted on the rear axle.

• The AWD variant, with dual motors on both axles, produces 313 hp and 504 Nm of torque, capable of doing 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds (with Boost Mode).

Range & Charging

Tata claims impressive MIDC-certified ranges:

• 627 km for the 75 kWh RWD
• 622 km for the 75 kWh AWD

Charging times are practical:

• 10.7 hours (10–100%) via a 7.2kW AC charger
• 25 minutes (20–80%) with a 120kW DC fast charger
