Expected Design

Based on teaser images and spy photographs, the Tata Sierra EV design will largely mirror the silhouette of the ICE-powered Sierra. However, several EV-specific elements will help it stand apart. The front fascia is expected to feature a closed grille, a signature trait of modern electric SUVs, while the air intake has been positioned lower on the bumper. Interestingly, the ADAS sensor module appears to be integrated neatly within the lower intake section.

From the side, the Sierra EV is likely to sport aerodynamic alloy wheels for improved efficiency. Flush door handles and protective body cladding will enhance both aesthetics and aerodynamics. The overall stance is expected to remain muscular yet contemporary, maintaining the Sierra’s iconic identity while embracing electrification.

A panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a premium JBL Black sound system with Dolby Atmos support are also anticipated.

With Tata Motors focusing heavily on in-car technology, the Sierra EV 2026 may also include connected car features, wireless smartphone integration, and advanced safety systems, making it a well-rounded family electric SUV.

Expected Range And Powertrain

When it comes to the Tata Sierra EV range , reports suggest battery pack options of 55 kWh and 65 kWh. The maximum claimed driving range is expected to reach up to 500 kilometres on a full charge, positioning it competitively in the Indian electric SUV segment.

Unlike the front-wheel-drive ICE version, the Tata Sierra EV 2026 is expected to offer rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. Pricing is likely to fall between Rs 18.50 lakh and Rs 25.50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option in the premium electric SUV space.

With bold styling, advanced features, and an impressive claimed range, the Tata Sierra EV could become a significant milestone in Tata’s electric mobility journey.
