This approach would allow Tata to focus on improving the Tigor's design and equipment without making major changes to its mechanical package.
The electric sedan is expected to retain its existing 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery options. The larger battery option is claimed to deliver a range of up to 285km on a single charge.
The Tigor EV could therefore continue to serve as Tata's more affordable electric sedan while receiving some of the styling and equipment changes introduced with the facelift.
