VinFast Unveils Lac Hong 800S And 900S, Restructures Portfolio Into Three Brand Lines

VinFast has announced the completion of its strategic restructuring into three distinct automotive brand lines and unveiled two new ultra-luxury electric vehicle models, the Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S . The development outlines a more clearly defined brand structure as the company continues to expand its electric vehicle portfolio across passenger and commercial mobility segments.

Three Clearly Defined Brand Lines

Under the new structure, VinFast’s automotive portfolio is organised into Lac Hong, VF and Green.

Lac Hong represents the ultra-luxury marque and currently comprises the 900 LX, 900S and the newly introduced 800S. This line sits at the top of the company’s product hierarchy.


The VF line continues as the mass-market passenger electric vehicle range. It covers multiple segments from VF 3 to VF 9, including the seven-seat VF MPV 7.

The Green brand is designed specifically for commercial and service mobility solutions. Its line-up includes Limo Green, Herio Green, Nerio Green and Minio Green, catering to fleet and business customers.

Lac Hong 800S And 900S Expand Premium Line-Up

The Lac Hong 800S and Lac Hong 900S join the previously introduced 900 LX, including an armoured version launched in 2025. Both new models follow a unified design language.

The grille features vertical slats inspired by bamboo, while the wing-shaped emblem symbolises ascent. Decorative motifs inspired by traditional cultural elements are integrated across the exterior and interior. The Lac Hong wordmark is styled in calligraphy and finished in gold-plated alloy.

Inside, the cabins are appointed with materials such as Nappa leather, selected woods and gold-plated accents. The focus is on comfort, detailing and refinement.

Technology, Features And Performance

Both vehicles incorporate advanced intelligent technologies and safety systems. Interior amenities include zero-gravity executive seating, automatic power-assisted doors and premium entertainment systems.

The Lac Hong 900S also features a privacy partition separating the cockpit and rear cabin, a starlight headliner, a large-format projection entertainment system and a foldable executive workstation for second-row occupants.


In performance terms, the models are equipped with a fully active suspension system developed to enhance ride comfort and stability. They can be configured with a tri-motor powertrain comprising one front motor and two rear motors, delivering up to 460 kW of combined output. Commercial launch is scheduled for 2027.
