Volvo is gearing up to expand its electric vehicle portfolio in India with the launch of the EX90 electric SUV on October 12, 2026. First showcased globally in 2022, the EX90 sits at the top of Volvo’s electric SUV range and is positioned as the brand’s global flagship EV.

With a design inspired by Volvo’s latest-generation models, a technology-rich cabin and multiple powertrain options, the EX90 is set to enter the premium electric SUV segment.
Since it is an electric SUV, the traditional front grille has been replaced by a sealed, body-coloured panel. Volvo’s logo sits prominently in the centre, while the lower section of the bumper houses air intakes.
The side profile continues the clean design theme with minimal visual clutter and large 20-inch alloy wheels. The overall silhouette gives the EX90 a premium and substantial road presence.
At the rear, the SUV gets C-shaped LED tail lamps along with vertical light elements around the rear windscreen. A subtle roof spoiler completes the design.
