The maintenance fees for these cards range between ₹250 and ₹350 per year, excluding GST. The total payable amount varies depending on the card type and specific features attached to the account.


According to experts, these higher-tier cards often provide additional privileges like higher withdrawal limits, enhanced insurance coverage, and global access, which justify the relatively higher fee structure. Therefore, customers are advised to review the terms and conditions linked to their card to understand the applicable annual fee.

Why the Deduction Appears Automatically

Since the maintenance charge is pre-scheduled and system-generated, it is deducted automatically from customer accounts without prior manual authorisation each year. The deduction may appear under descriptions such as “Annual Maintenance Charge,” “Card Fee,” or “Debit Card AMC” in the bank statement.
