Bigg Boss 20: Salman Khan introduces contestants, Badshah's ex-wife Isha Rikhi cries, Riya Ahir loses 'Fans Ka Faisla'

Lights, camera and Bigg Boss! Sit back and relax as the wait is finally over, with Bigg Boss Season 20 premiering on Sunday on JioHotstar and Colors. Returning as the host, Salman Khan kicked off the milestone season in style with a spectacular performance on 20 iconic songs, marking his 20-year association with Bigg Boss. Looking dapper in a jacket and cowboy hat and sporting a clean-shaven look, Salman Khan danced to his iconic songs and also introduced the contestants.

This season introduces the unique 'Tathastu-Two' theme with an extra 'Jeevan Daan'. Adding to the grand premiere celebrations, contestants Kanika Mann, Aamrapali Dubey, Yung DSA, Uditi Singh and Mahhi Vij took the stage with special performances, while Manoj Tiwari came on stage to support his daughter and contestant, Rhiti Tiwari. Dinesh Lal Yadav, aka Nirahua, also joined the celebrations to support Aamrapali Dubey, making the premiere a memorable evening filled with entertainment, performances and special moments.

Adding another interesting turn to the lineup, Lovepreet Gill earned her place in the Bigg Boss house through 'Fans Ka Faisla', securing the highest number of votes from the audience.

Season 20 features a lineup of 17 contestants, including MC Mary Kom, Aamrapali Dubey, Uditi Singh, Arishfa Khan, Aman Gandhi, Qazi Ahmad Tauqeer, Harsh Machare aka Yung DSA, Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu, Rhiya Yadav, Lovepreet Gill, Rohed Khan, Isha Rikhi, Mahhi Vij, Asif Khan, Rhiti Tiwari, Kanika Mann and Tanmay Singh aka Scoutop. The contestants bring their own identities, journeys and approaches to the game.

Before Mary Kom entered the Bigg Boss house, host Salman Khan revealed that one of her well-wishers had sent a special message for her. A video message from Priyanka was then played, in which she said, "I am wishing you all the very best. You are going inside the Bigg Boss house, and I know this first-hand, that how strong, resilient and determined you are."

She further added, "A small 'chaitawani' (warning) for the rest of the housemates, Mary ke saamne agar bane rehna hai, toh lambi race ke liye taiyaar ho jaaiye. Inka knockout na bahut bhaari padta hai. Mary, bas aap jaisi hain waise rahiye, khule dil se kheliye." She concluded, "I am so looking forward to your journey. Bahut saara pyaar, I am always rooting for you."
