Claude down? Users report partial outage issue, 'Downgraded performance of my Claude Max bill'

Users reported widespread issues with Claude AI on Sunday night. Reports on Downdetector spiked as users flagged problems across Claude Code and ClaudeChat.

According to Downdetector, 41% of reported problems involved Claude Code, 31% involved Claude Chat, and 19% concerned the app. Other users also reported login issues, website errors and latency.

Anthropic acknowledged the incident on its service status page, saying it had identified the cause of the disruption and that engineers were working to restore normal operations.

The company had not announced a timeline for a full recovery at the time of publication.
