LPG Price Hike: Commercial Cylinder Rates Increase for Third Straight Month, Check Latest Prices in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai
Commercial LPG cylinder prices have increased again ahead of Diwali, marking the third consecutive monthly hike across India’s four major metropolitan cities. According to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) data, the latest revision has pushed prices up by ₹10 to ₹17 per cylinder in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai.
Kolkata has recorded the highest increase among the four cities. The rise in commercial LPG rates could add to operating costs for restaurants, hotels, sweet shops and other businesses that depend on these cylinders.
However, there is some relief for household consumers, as domestic LPG cylinder prices have remained unchanged. The last revision in domestic cylinder rates took place in June.
Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Increased in Four Major CitiesAccording to IOCL data, commercial LPG prices have gone up for the third month in a row. The latest increase varies from city to city.

Kolkata has witnessed the biggest increase of ₹17 per cylinder, while Delhi and Mumbai have recorded smaller revisions.
Commercial LPG prices have continued to rise since August, with all four metropolitan cities experiencing increases over the past three months.
The cumulative increase during this period has reached ₹82 in Delhi. In Kolkata, commercial cylinder prices have climbed by ₹98.50. Mumbai has recorded a total increase of ₹83.50, while Chennai has seen prices rise by ₹88.50.
The repeated revisions have increased the cost of commercial LPG for businesses that use gas cylinders for cooking and other operations.
Domestic LPG Cylinder Prices Remain UnchangedUnlike commercial cylinders, domestic LPG prices have not been revised in the latest update. Household consumers will continue to pay the existing rates.
