Starting a business often requires substantial capital, and arranging a loan can be difficult when you do not have property to offer as security. To encourage young people to become entrepreneurs, the Uttar Pradesh government runs the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan (CM Yuva) scheme. It offers financial support to eligible youth looking to establish new manufacturing or service-based businesses.

Loan Up To ₹5 Lakh In First Phase

Under the first phase, eligible first-time entrepreneurs can receive financial assistance for projects costing up to ₹5 lakh. The scheme provides a 100% government subsidy on the eligible loan component, making it interest-free for the beneficiary.

Another major benefit is that applicants are not required to provide property or another asset as collateral. The loan is supported through a credit guarantee mechanism, reducing the need for traditional security or a guarantor.

Second Loan Can Go Up To ₹10 Lakh

The scheme also provides an opportunity to access higher funding after successful repayment of the initial loan. Those who repay the first loan on time can become eligible for a loan of up to ₹10 lakh under the second phase.

The second phase provides a 50% subsidy, along with additional support related to margin money. The scheme also offers incentives to entrepreneurs who encourage digital transactions in their businesses.
