Multispecialty hospital operator Paras Healthcare made a positive entry onto Dalal Street on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, with its equity shares listing at ₹720 apiece on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The debut represents a listing premium of approximately 3.9 percent over the upper end of its initial public offering (IPO) price band of ₹693 per share. The stock market debut follows a steady public subscription process where the healthcare chain’s offering was subscribed 2.23 times overall, drawing bids for 26.9 million equity shares against the 12.1 million shares placed on the block. The primary offering witnessed its strongest institutional participation from Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs), whose allocated portion was oversubscribed 3.09 times, while the retail individual investor bracket was also fully subscribed amid steady demand for regional tertiary care providers.

Anchor Inflows and Offer Breakdown: How the ₹1,450-Crore Issue Was Structured

Priced within a fixed band of ₹660 to ₹693 per share, Paras Healthcare’s ₹1,450-crore public issue comprised a fresh issue of new equity shares aggregating up to ₹500 crore and an Offer for Sale (OFS) component totaling ₹950 crore. Under the OFS route, company promoter Dharminder Kumar Nagar divested shares worth ₹300 crore, while Commelina, an investment vehicle affiliated with private equity firm Creador, offloaded equity valued at ₹650 crore.

Ahead of the public bidding window, the hospital group mobilized ₹652.5 crore from anchor investors, allocating 9.415 million equity shares to 21 premier sovereign wealth funds, global pensions, and asset management institutions. Notable anchor participants included the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), BlackRock Global Funds, Norway's Government Pension Fund Global, Eastspring Investments, Natixis International Funds, Integrated Core Strategies (Asia), and Citigroup Global.
From the ₹500-crore proceeds generated through the fresh share issue, Paras Healthcare has earmarked ₹375 crore to systematically pay down outstanding institutional borrowings, with the residual capital directed toward general corporate working capital requirements.

Expanding North Indian Footprint: Gurugram and Ludhiana Hospital Pipeline

Operating under the clinical banner of Paras Health, the healthcare enterprise delivers specialized medical and tertiary surgical care focused on complex and critical disease burdens.

The group currently operates an established regional cluster of eight operational hospitals comprising a total bed capacity of 2,211 beds across key geographical zones in North India, Bihar, and Jharkhand. To accelerate bed density and regional market leadership, the hospital chain is executing a targeted brownfield and greenfield expansion program anchored by two flagship projects: a 300-bed multispecialty hospital in Gurugram and a 500-bed super-specialty hospital in Ludhiana.
According to the company's operational roadmap, the 300-bed Gurugram facility is on track for clinical commissioning within the ongoing financial year, while the larger 500-bed Ludhiana medical campus is targeted for commercial launch during the subsequent fiscal year, significantly augmenting the group's bed operational capacity across northern healthcare corridors.
