Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged across major Indian cities on October 7, while global crude oil prices remained elevated. State-owned oil marketing companies have kept retail fuel rates stable, providing some relief to consumers amid fluctuations in international oil markets. However, any sustained increase in crude oil prices could put pressure on India's fuel import bill and pricing outlook in the coming days.
Retail fuel prices in major metro cities
In Mumbai, petrol is available at ₹111.21 per liter, the same as the previous day's rate. Diesel in the financial capital is priced at ₹97.83 per liter. In Delhi, petrol is available at ₹102.12 per liter, while diesel is selling at ₹95.20 per liter, reflecting lower fuel prices in the national capital compared to other metro cities.
