Sensex surges 4K pts in Diwali month. Is a new bull run ahead?

The Sensex has exploded 4,159 points, a blistering 5% surge, in October alone, powered by a dramatic U-turn from foreign institutional investors (FIIs) who have pumped over Rs 7,300 crore back into Indian equities. The benchmark index now sits tantalizingly close to its all-time high, just 1,552 points away from the 85,978 peak, while the Nifty trails its record by a mere 410 points.
