13-year-old boy found hanging at home in Fatehabad
Hisar : A 13-year-old boy was found hanging inside his home in Lajpat Nagar in Fatehabad on Wednesday evening.
The Class 7 student was alone at home at the time of the incident, police said.
The boy’s mother, who works with a govt department, found her son hanging in his room upon returning from the office. She alerted the police, and a team reached the spot and took the body to the civil hospital .
The boy had been living with his mother in a rented house in Lajpat Nagar for the last several years. His father died about seven years ago.
Police said the circumstances leading to the boy’s death were not immediately clear. Investigators are questioning family members and neighbours as part of the inquest proceedings.
Police added that the body has been sent for postmortem examination .
