AIMIM expels Telangana MLC Mirza Rahmat Baig with immediate effect

HYDERABAD: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen ( AIMIM ) has expelled Telangana Legislative Council member Mirza Rahmat Baig from the party with immediate effect, according to a party statement .

SA Hussain Anwar, joint secretary of AIMIM, said Baig had also been directed to submit his resignation to the chairman of the Telangana Legislative Council immediately, news agency ANI reported.
