At Nabha, Partition survivors recall 1947 horrors, warn against political hate
Patiala : Survivors of the 1947 Partition gathered at a seminar in Nabha on Sunday to recount their experiences of displacement and violence and to warn against divisive politics and hate speech .
The event, held under the banner ‘ Wand Da Dard - Yaadan atte Sabak ’ (Pain of Partition - Memories and Lessons), brought together around 21 survivors, including several in their nineties, of what has been described as the world’s largest mass migration.
