Cops raid liquor party at farmhouse, 21 booked
Surat: Dumas police raided an alleged liquor party at a farmhouse in the city during Independence Day security patrolling and registered an FIR against 21 people, including eight women.
Police seized valuables worth around Rs1.04 crore, including nine cars, 24 mobile phones, liquor bottles and other items from the farmhouse.
According to police, the party was organised to celebrate the birthday of a woman makeup artist from the city. Unlike a conventional gathering, the party allegedly involved a board game called ‘Black Out‘, in which players rolled dice and performed drinking-related tasks in accordance with the spaces they landed on.
