Days before Raksha Bandhan, man shoots 2 sisters dead in Roorkee; brother-in-law critical
DEHRADUN: Just three days before Raksha Bandhan, a man allegedly shot dead his two sisters and critically injured his brother-in-law in Uttarakhand's Roorkee on Tuesday night, police said.
The incident took place in the Gangnahar area. The accused, identified as Vivek Kumar, allegedly first went to the house of his sister Pushpa and shot her.
He then went to the residence of his other sister, Shakuntala, where he allegedly opened fire at her and her husband. Both women died at the scene from their gunshot injuries.
