Expert reveals why Donald Trump's presidency is about to crumble

Donald Trump's reaction to the Supreme Court's ruling on his tariff policy shows his authority is beginning to crack, an expert has claimed. The US President said he would impose a 10% levy after the Supreme Court struck down his previous import taxes on Friday.

But in a post on Truth Social on Saturday, he said he would be increasing this to the higher rate "effective immediately", before announcing 15% global tariffs. Speaking following the Supreme Court's decision which declared that it is unconstitutional for the president to unilaterally set and change tariffs, Professor Rajneesh Narula claimed that Trump could now begin to experience domestic pressure as a result. Mr Narula, who is a Professor in International Business Regulation and specialises in global trade policy and economic power, told the Daily Express: "Trump will almost certainly look for a workaround - this ruling was widely expected.
