PTC Web Desk:  Ten-year-old Shravan Singh from Punjab’s Ferozepur district has been awarded the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar for his selfless service to Indian soldiers during Operation Sindoor. Shravan earned national recognition for extending heartfelt support to troops deployed near his village during heightened tensions along the India-Pakistan border.

When soldiers arrived in the area as part of the operation, Shravan felt an instinctive urge to help them in whatever way he could. Despite his young age, he regularly carried essentials such as cold water, milk, tea, lassi, buttermilk and ice to the jawans, often walking long distances under the summer sun.

Earlier, the Indian Army had also honoured Shravan as the ‘Youngest Civil Warrior’ for his dedication and compassion towards the forces.

Shravan’s gesture has touched hearts across the country, symbolising courage, patriotism and empathy beyond age. His story stands as a powerful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful difference in times of national service.
